Tynedale Rotary is proud to support the military charity Walking with the Wounded in its 10th Anniversary year, by presenting A Performance for Peace.
A concert to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day and the Peace that has followed.
Featuring the wonderful Chivenor Military Ladies Choir (upon who the smash hit film "Military Wives" is based), Youth Connection Drama Group, performance poet David Roe, Hexham Brass, and solo singer Harriet Hobrough.
Please enter the Abbey through the Cloister Porch. As you are arriving you will hear the Abbey Bells ringing a special celebratory peal for the 75th Anniversary of VE Day. Many hundreds of churches will be taking part in this mass peal across the country at 7pm on the 8th May.
