This concert is the first event in a day of celebrations marking the 1350th anniversary of St.Wilfrid’s founding of Corbridge Chamber Music Festival’s venue, St. Andrew’s Church. Hexham Abbey is his mightiest creation, so we start the day here before moving on St.Andrew’s Corbridge for a joyous evening performance. You can even go from one concert to the other on the official festival walk, in association with Hexham Ramblers!
