Interstellar Organ Suite beneath Gaia with Matthew Kelley

Prepare for a musical journey at Hexham Abbey like no other, as you experience our famous Abbey organ played by Matthew Kelley (Assistant Director of Music) alongside Luke Jerram’s stunning GAIA exhibition. Be transported by a program of celestial organ music, both famous and new, centred around Hans Zimmer’s dazzling soundtrack from the 2014 film Interstellar, and finishing with Widor’s timeless Toccata. The audience is invited to quietly wander the Abbey and take in the illuminated spectacle, as the music fills the space.
