The Snowman – Outdoor Cinema Experience
December 17, 2025 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
£5.42
Come to a special, outdoor, family-friendly screening of the classic animation The Snowman on the Wayfaring Cinema, parked on the Hexham Abbey lawn.
One winter’s night, a snowman comes to life and an unforgettable adventure begins. Raymond Briggs’ classic is a true piece of Christmas magic – narrated entirely through pictures, it captures the wonder and innocence of childhood.
There will be fairy lights and a firebowl as well as popcorn, hot chocolate and mulled wine. Bring your family, a cosy blanket (and hot water bottle if you fancy) and celebrate a special moment of christmas outside in the dark.
The Wayfaring Cinema is a mobile cinema made from recyled materials, entirely powered by renewable energy, and is managed by Good Cave Projects.
Starts at 5:00PM
