Threads through Revelation

A Breathtaking Exhibition of Contemporary Textile Art
Hexham Abbey is proud to host Threads Through Revelation, an extraordinary exhibition by acclaimed British textile artist Jacqui Parkinson. Featuring fourteen spectacular embroidered panels inspired by the Book of Revelation, this acclaimed exhibition brings one of the Bible’s most dramatic and thought-provoking books vividly to life.
Rich in colour, texture and symbolism, the artworks explore themes of conflict and hope, judgement and redemption, culminating in the vision of a new heaven and a new earth. Created over three years of research, design and stitching, these monumental pieces demonstrate remarkable artistic skill and storytelling.
