Five local artists will be returning to the Abbey between 8th & 19th July to present a colourful and varied exhibition entitled ‘Artists in the Abbey’. Jill Dexter (woven textiles), Claire Myers (animal watercolours), Lindsey Cooper (printmaker), David Taylor (landscape photographer) and Tania Taylor (craft bookbinder) are looking forward to being reunited for the exhibition for the fifth year running. The artists will be in the North Transept from 10am to 4pm throughout the exhibition, services permitting. They will be happy to discuss their work with visitors, who will also be able to watch some of them creating new pieces.
