Bradley Creswick's Western Swingfonia

"A foot-stomping fusion of classical virtuosity and cowboy cool"

On 24th February at 7.30pm, Bradley Creswick invites you to fasten your seatbelt for a bumpy ride through Western Swing to Henry Purcell via Romanian fiddle music and South American dance with original songs from Archie Brown.

This event is part of our 1350 anniversary series of events, where the Abbey will be hosting a range of activities to mark this historic milestone in our history.

Bradley has been rightly designated a regional treasure. Originally from West Sussex he began learning the violin aged 12.  Born to a circus and fairground performer (his father) and jazz singer (his mother) he was destined to entertain.  He went on to study at the Royal College of Music before leading the Royal Northern Sinfonia, (twice), London Philharmonia, and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House.

Join him on 24th February for what promises to be a night of amazing music, laughs and entertainment.
