Cross on war memorial chapel altar

Gilded wooden cross on rectangular base with ribbed scrolled edges to four points of cross. Spiral decoration on oblong stem. The central boss has a chrismon (Chi-Rho ☧) on the front and an intertwined IHS on the rear. [IHS = the first three letters of the name Jesus in Greek (ΙΗΣΟΥΣ), often used as a Christian emblem.] Part of set with candlesticks HEXAB153
