Large slate (?) slab, only upper half used. Elegant lower case text, with well carved heraldic shield, leafy trimmings. Arms: a shield gules charged with a bend dexter argent with three mullets of five points, a rose in chief. Good condition.

In 1722 John Aynsley donated the large flagon with hinged lid [HEXAB2056].
1823: “The last table monument worthy of notice is a modern one in the east aisle of the south transept, inscribed Sepulcrum Johannis Anesley, Generosi. Arms, on a bend dexter 3 stars of 5 points, a rose in chief.” [A B Wright, 1823 p.95]
