| 5-slat seat with ‘ladder-back’; ends have two legs, a stretcher, shaped armrest supported over front leg and jointed into back leg which rises to a simple knop finial with double joint support to back. No longitudinal stretcher. Red S. American? In the centre of the backrest a small brass plate with the inscription: | ||||||||||||
