Fundraising Manager Cath Newson has succeeded in walking, running and cycling 1,000 miles for Abbey funds (with a little help from her canine companions). Please keep donating in recognition of this effort!

Cath writes... Initially, I coped with lockdown by going on daily walks and started to adjust to having time to experience the breathtakingly beautiful spring. Then, an idea for a fund-raiser started to form in my mind…how many miles could I travel in a carbon-neutral way during 2020? I have now reached my target of 1,000 miles accompanied by my trusty golden retriever Mabel and manic springer spaniel Hattie and I hope to raise at least £2,000 for the Abbey. Donations from Abbey visitors are massively down due to the lockdown closure, so any contribution will be very gratefully received. Thank you!
